Determination means work hard to be better every day!

Talk about determination!

Nancy Lieberman is the who’s, who of basketball and well known as a:

  • Basketball Hall of Famer
  • Two-time Olympian
  • First-ever female BIG3 head coach
  • Second, assisting female NBA coach
  • Philanthropic leader
  • Proud mom
  • International motivational speaker

Nancy Lieberman has determination and has been defying the odds since she was a young girl playing basketball in Harlem and is the youngest basketball player in American history, winning a Silver Medal.

Above all, within just a few minutes, you’ll feel like you’ve known my guest Nancy Lieberman for years, and you won’t forget the experience listening to “Lady Magic,” a pioneer for women’s sports…

Nancy Lieberman is a person that has work hard determination to bring it day in and day out! ‘Work hard’ is a motto she has lived by because, in her line of work, everybody wants her job.

To start with, I asked her: how do you bring it everyday consistently in such a competitive sport and career?

“By creating an everyday discipline” ~Nancy Lieberman

That is to say, you have to want to be better every day and want to reach the goals you are striving to achieve!

Indeed, being better daily is having:

  • Patience
  • Discipline
  • Success qualities
  • Partnership
  • Competitive spirit

These are the ultimate teammates. Also, she adds that some people have ‘will’ and some people have ‘skill’ and some are just lazy.

To clarify, they show up to earn a paycheck and don’t work hard. For this reason, Nancy believes that, this separates someone from having the utmost success in a career.

Moreover, you have to be determined to want to figure out how to be better; that best version of yourself! As a result, you’ll be uber-successful and influence a lot of people around you because people are watching you every single day.

In conclusion, we are all part of a team, and for sure, we are each individually responsible for our team effort and determination to find success!

I want to shout out a special thanks to Nancy Lieberman for the interview above, and I appreciate working through my McCabe Foundation with her foundation Nancy Lieberman Foundation.

Thanks for joining me,
