MLM: Turning It Into A Full-Time Career

MLM is sometimes underestimated and misunderstood as a pyramid scheme!

First off, I’m super excited to have an icon of the MLM industry on this blog post today Richard Bliss Brooke!

Impressively, his story is going from Chicken Chopper to Millionaire CEO at Age 30.

Richard grew up on a cattle ranch in Chowchilla, California. His parents were affluent and educated, but Richard was a negative thinker. He hated high school, felt unworthy of love after his parent’s divorce, and barely graduated with a D average. So it was no surprise when his “ambition” led him to Foster Farms, the largest poultry plant in the world.

Richard began living life at the speed of 38 BPM (Birds Per Minute). His job was to cut chickens into parts as they flew past him on the production line. Ambitious and hard-working, Richard dreamed of climbing the ranks and happily retiring after 40 years. With four years under his belt, Richard thought he was really cutting it – life, not chickens. Richard was 22 years old.
In 1977 something happened that forever changed the course of Richard’s life. Foster Farms changed their policy to where only employees with a four-year college degree could advance.

Leading to a Career in Network Marketing

As a result, this led Richard to say ‘yes’ to a new opportunity in Network Marketing.

Initially, he struggled how to figure out:

  • Finding the right people
  • What to say
  • Overcoming the setbacks

Eventually, through a rigorous investment of time and money in his personal development, he discovered that it was his own:

  • Thoughts
  • Beliefs
  • Stories

About himself, that was holding him back. He changed them quickly, and his business changed with them, and three years later, at age 28, Richard had 30,000 active partners building with him.

Learn how Richard Bliss Brooke turned a Network Marketing side hustle into a full-time career he loves…

Chicken Chopper to Millionaire CEO

For starters, many of you reading this may know this guy, especially if you live and work in the world of MLM:

  • NWM
  • Network Marketing
  • Direct Sales

Moreover, if you don’t know, Richard Brooke, you might live under a rock.

Going from a chicken chopper to a Millionaire CEO at Age 30 is an impressive task in and of itself!

Being an icon in the Network Marketing Profession (MLM) space, I highly recommend the books that he has authored:

Richard is the genius behind the ‘Network Marketing Hero’s Podcast.’

MLM Versus Pyramid Scheme

MLM is sometimes highly misunderstood and thought to be a pyramid scheme; hence, why I want to educate people on this amazing profession!

Indeed, Richard Brookes shares the same love affair as I with this NWM profession, and if you watched the video above, you’d understand why.

Furthermore, Richard has done a phenomenal job at educating on what Network Marketing really is, as opposed to the perception of what it’s thought to be, and why it’s such a viable business opportunity today.

“Network Marketing has a reputation that is misunderstood because of the way people represent the business model” ~Richard Bliss Brooke~

Consequently, NWM and Direct Sales is misrepresented and sometimes lands as:

  • Hype
  • Exaggeration
  • Manipulation

All because those that figure out the power in the NWM model go kinda ‘crazy’ with excitement leading people to believe it might be a pyramid scheme.

Product Experience

Mostly in its fundamental state, someone has a great experience with a particular product, and that’s a powerful experience. For sure, this causes them to become a raving fan of a specific product line and talking about it.

However, talking about the product, one doesn’t get compensated unless you become an affiliate of the product and company.

“Essentially, MLM is people who fall in love with a product, who want to build a sales team by inspiring others to fall in love with a product authentically. Because of that, you could end up with 10’s of thousands of sales affiliates on your team and make overrides not only on your sales but theirs as well.”

It’s true, to build a Network Marketing business, you must use the product faithfully and be a true raving fan of the product you sell.

I’m so appreciative of Richard’s golden nuggets he shared with us today, and I hope you are too!

Wishing you great success,

Kody B.
