Staffing Agency Builds Rapport for Recruitment

Rapport is undoubtedly crucial for every business.

Let’s take staffing agencies as an example. Staffing agencies have a two-fold recruitment mission. Therefore, having skills for building rapport on both sides of the recruitment is essential.

These two sides of recruitment are:

  1. Candidates
  2. Clinics

Melissa Barlock is the founder of a Dental Recruitment Agency ‘Enspire Dental Opportunities Corp’ in Canada. Connecting candidates with dental clinics and vice versa is her main objective.

Building and maintaining rapport with:

  • dental clinics
  • dental associates
  • temp agencies
  • customers
  • candidates

She describes this industry as an interesting, open, and diverse industry.

However, it’s no different than any other industry as far as the need to build rapport and relationships with customers and clients in all businesses.

“Relationship marketing is transferable in every industry, business, profession, and everyday life in general.”

-Melissa Barlock

Live Podcast with a Staffing Agency

I enjoyed the first time ever, doing my podcast live from my Relationship Marketing Grand Summit. At this conference, we have business owners from all over the world who come to learn rapport building skills based on the teachings of relationship marketing.

Melissa Barlock of Canada and founder of ‘Enspire Dental Opportunities Corp’ was my guest, and I was super excited to interview her. Melissa is also an affiliate of one of my companies that teaches building rapport in business.

She is a high-level specialist who has spoken to people all over the world, in all walks of life on the philosophies of building rapport by mastering the art of relationship marketing.

One of my dreams

Subsequently, Melissa is living one of my dreams.

First off, I’m a lover of motorsports and find it a fascinating industry. Secondly, along with motorsports comes motorsport trailers. You know the kind; the ones with all the fancy bells and whistles! I can see myself driving down the road with a beautiful motorsport trailer towing behind my truck; gives me goosebumps.

That is to say, I know without a shadow of a doubt that I could be the #1 trailer salesman in the world bar none! How do I know this; because of my knowledge and skills of relationship marketing that I teach.

Let me clarify! Melissa is not a trailer saleswoman. My reference is the fact that she can use her relationship marketing skills from her affiliate business to build a new business. In other words, her affiliate business affords her time to do this. In comparison, owning the relationship marketing business SendOutCards and Sendogo does not allow me this time freedom.

Building relationships has been a passion of mine for a very long time. Hence the reason SendOutCards was brought about. I encourage people to reach out with a heartfelt message to those people who suddenly cross their mind. Tell people you love and care about them while they are alive not waiting till it’s too late and at a funeral.

How to build rapport in any business

Melissa’s staffing agency has become wildly successful in a short time period because she practices what she preaches. She attributes her great success in strengthening relationships with her candidates, dental clinics, and dental associates.

For example, here are some instances she uses SendOutCards for building rapport;

  • Clients: Sending a note of appreciation every time candidates are placed with a dental clinic
  • Gatekeeper: It’s a great door opener to get past the gatekeeper to whoever makes the decisions
  • Candidate: Congratulating the candidate on their new job
  • Students: Recruiting new college graduates aspiring to have a career in the dental field

In addition to the above relationship-building Melissa also incorporates;

  • Social Media
  • Visiting Universities
  • Posting job adds
  • Making phone calls
  • Remain visible and present

Even more importantly; success has nothing to do with your product and everything to do with relationships.

Remember, add value to everybody you meet.

Take Care,

Kody B.
