Leveraging marketing dollars, is not what most people in business think it is. Unfortunately, they think it’s all about doing the average, typical and what appears to be a sexy marketing tactics.  Which we know can be super pricey and bear less fruit now days.

I’m talking the average typical marketing strategies such as…

  • Billboards
  • Magazines
  • Online ad’s
  • Bulk mailers
  • TV and Radio Ad’s

What if I told you there’s a powerful way to leverage marketing dollars. Even more surprising, it’s not your average, typical marketing strategy. Yet, it’s sexy, effective and far from pricey. Consequently, what is pricey, is losing a customer to your competition.

“It’s cheaper to keep a customer than to find a new one.”

This proven statement couldn’t be any more true!

Ask yourself these questions…

  • Do I want to be average?
  • Do I want my business and or service to be average?
  • Am I getting the best bang for my buck with average marketing?
  • Does my marketing strategy set me apart from my competition?

Above all, if your answer is “NO” and you’re looking for the biggest bang in leveraging your marketing dollars, then you’re in the right place!

Perhaps it’s time to think “outside the box”… I know this sounds “cliche.”

However, it’s quite the opposite of “cliche,” matter of fact it’s…

  • far from the average marketing
  • proven the most cost-effective marketing
  • an effective marketing strategy
  • trumping your competition’s marketing hands down
  • an organic strategy to set you far apart from your competition

This my friends is “Relationship Marketing.”

Hence in this tangible economy, utilizing relationship marketing to build the human connection with customers inside and outside of your business, is bar none, the best way to “leverage marketing dollars.”

Seems as though people in business don’t leverage relationships to grow their business because they…

  • don’t think it’s sexy
  • believe it to be difficult
  • afraid it’s time-consuming
  • think it’s too expensive

Certainly this is “NOT” the case!

Let’s face it, it doesn’t matter what industry you’re in, competition is lurking around every corner!

So, how do you combat that competition before they grab ahold of your clients/customers?

By saying “Thank you” more than your competition!

Realize this, only 3% of top salespeople acknowledge their customers with a “Thank You!”

Actually, to be quite frank, it’s hard for me to comprehend why people in business don’t get this concept!

Also, not only is saying “Thank you” the most cost-effective place to spend and leverage marketing dollars, it also builds the heart of your business.

Simply put “relationships are the true value in your business.”

Most noteworthy, by switching your focus and marketing dollars to building relationships…

You’ll see higher rates in…

  1. Customer retention
  2. Referral base
  3. Testimonials
  4. Word of mouth advertising
  5. Your bottom line

Further more I’m telling you folks, if you 10X your “Thank you’s,” you’ll 10X your business!

Finally, you can’t get any better leverage out of your marketing dollars, than implementing a “Relationship Marketing Strategy”…period!
